ProductNow has developed for Foxi tablet holders, destined for those with reduced mobility. The product is assembled to the articulated arm and holds the devices through a magnetic field. Due to the success of the project, we have, and will continue to, manufacture the product for Foxi whenever needed.
After its design and prototypes being approved, we 3D printed the tablet holders with the PET(g) filament through FDM technology. At the printing stage we have three magnets below the last layer of material ensuring its fixation and an homogeneous surface. These homogeneity is important so the magnet lumps aren’t too noticeable, after the aplication of the sticker.
Besides the product development itself, we also defined an assembly manual so this last task, performed by the company or the Foxi’s clients, is facilitated. Onto the tablet, a metalic sheet is glued with an adhesive, enabling that the tablet is successfully supported in its holder through its magnets.
In addition to the tablet holder, ProductNow designed, prototyped and has been producing a support structure for the attachment of a camera that monitors the user’s eyes. This product, as the tablet holder, is 3D printed in our FDM printers in PET(g) filament.
