We have associated ourselves with the project 3DMask Portugal, by 3D printing and distributing several protection masks for the health sector workers, whom have been relentlessly fighting Covid-19. The project, through different contributors (including ProductNow), reached a production rate of 1000 masks per day.
For the achievement of the referred production rate, ProductNow helped in the access of production suppliers and with the optimization of the existing design for its scalability. Besides the original design optimization, we also created our own design with the same purpose, that only required laser cutting of the acrylic sheets.
While 3D printing more than 300 masks in-house, we also assisted in distributing both mask designs to hospitals and fire stations, scattered through the entire Lisbon district. We are honoured to be able to participate in this amazing project and contribute to the global effort on fighting the pandemic.
